Signal of the Month – July 2023

SN209BR/1 & SN209BR/2 – The ‘Three State’ Banner Repeaters for SN209 at Platform 3 at Ealing Broadway. This slightly unusual arrangement of Banner Repeaters was due to the station re-construction work as part of the Crossrail Project. SN209BR/2 being provided primarily for non-stopping trains that wouldn’t be able to sight SN209BR/1 on the platform due to the construction work of the new platform canopies. BR/2 being due to be reviewed with the intention of removal now that the construction work is finished.
