PR5 – The down Par Platform 3 Starter, this signal controls trains from Par towards Penzance or Newquay, around the corner to the right is St. Blazey. The signal is due for replacement in March 2024 by a colour light signal controlled by the new Cornwall Workstation at Exeter PSB as part of a wider signalling renewal, which sees the closure of Lostwithiel, Par and Truro Signal Box and the replacement of mechanical signalling and Absolute Block with colour lights and Track Circuit Block.
